The Resilience Scholarship
The Rotary Club Olympia Capital Centennial awards (2) $1500 scholarships in 2023. The scholarship are awarded to high school seniors who have shown extraordinary resilience to a personal or family life challenge. Examples include family, personal, financial, health, physical, emotional, and mental health, and all other scenarios where resilience has been demonstrated.
Resilience Scholarship Eligibility
Students must be current high school seniors (expected graduation in 2023) within one of the following eligible Olympia school districts.
- Students must plan to enroll in a post-secondary educational program (associate’s Degree, bachelor’s Degree, Vocational School, etc.
- Complete the electronic form for consideration by midnight on April 28, 2023. Winners will be contacted by late May.
This Year's Applicants
There were 31 students who applied for this year's pool from across the Olympia school district. Applicants submitted a personal statement and application that were reviewed by the scholarship committee. Two students were selected after a blind review process.
